Typical Base Material Grades
  • Final pass-welding of parts of earth-moving and mining equipment with high resistance to abraison, as well as of parts of hard manganese steels and frags
  • Weld metal is resistant to abraison
  • Machining of weld metal possible by grinding.
  • If more than 3-4 layers are needed, apply the softer stick electrode ELHARD 250 and ELHARD 300 for build up
  • Preheat heavy parts and higher tensile steels at 200°C-300°C. Re-drying : 300°C / 2h.
